The court cases will go nowhere, let me tell you that much now. I know the court cases will go
nowhere. Mark, I tell you what, Mark closed the forum down in October 2012, he closed the forum,
closed the Twitter account, he closed the Facebook account. There were so many people trying to
harass him, you know, bullying, there was even phone calls, he even received death threats. I know
this, I know this as a fact. He did close everything down and one of the forum admins who was South
African, guy called David, he reached out and said to him ‘Look, tell you what, I know you’re pissed off
at the forum, I know the forum is making you ill, I know it is making you financially ruining you, let me
start the forum again and I will take all responsibility’. And he did this. He took over the forum, I think
a week later he re-opened the forum, and he re-opened the Twitter account and he re-opened the
Facebook accounts and, but from when he opened it went downhill again. He was, I don’t know, he
was… he turned very anti- Julian. He has his own blog and he was tweeting against Julian and saying
he was the first person who had a WikiLeaks mirror. He was the very first mirror, and he owns the
WikiLeaks South African WikiLeaks domain as well. I think … three or four months later he gave in, he
didn’t want the forum any more and he asked Mark if he’d take it back. Mark, I think, yeah, he took the
forum back but only for a few weeks to find someone to actually, you know, just find someone who
was willing to take responsibility, willing to be bullied, I mean, owning a forum, you are going to be
bullied, you are going to be harassed, it’s always the same with forum, you can go in any forum on
this planet, the forum owner is always someone who is the baddie. He’ll be harassed, he’ll be bullied,
he’ll be intimidated and he did find someone else to take the forum over and they took the forum over.
From that, I think that was, yeah, that was February 2013. That’s when he absolutely disappeared all
together. He doesn’t even have an account on the forum. I know the forum made him quite ill,
[laughter] That’s the guy…he used to run the forum a long time ago. He gave the forum away. Let me
think. Last, I think January 2013 or before that even. He got pissed off, the forum was costing too
much money and, I don’t know, he gave it to someone else, they gave it then to someone else, and
now the group, I think, I am not quite sure, there is three or four of them they run it all together.

That’s what I know. Yes, three people and it is registered as a group so it’s absolutely impossible to
find out the owner, I know that, I know that one of the people is in India, the other one is in UK, but I
don’t know who, and one of them is in Canada.

to keep on line and I don’t think they are doing it to ruin WikiLeaks, I mean they are paying a lot of
money to keep this forum on line
The best bet, would be what I said to you yesterday, would be to get download a copy of the
database, which I have done it already. I’ve already made, a CSV file with all 17,000 e-mail
addresses. That means yeah, they can all be notified, yeah, with proof that their data has been
compromised and that the database has been hacked and the forum’s been hacked and their data
and their IP addresses isn’t safe anymore,

I don’t have a Twitter account, no, I have access to the forum’s Twitter account, I have to be careful
who I follow and who I don’t follow, I have access to the Twitter account, I could… that’s the problem, I
have access to the forum’s Admin account, and I have access to the forum’s Twitter account. I don’t
have a personal Twitter account, I just use the forum’s Twitter account, but there are about 10 people
using the forum’s Twitter account, there is not just one person, there is a group of people,
the thing is, hacking the forum would also probably, could
also fall back on Julian. I think if someone hacked the forum, or manage to hijack the forum or take it
over, I think everyone, the press, would probably all point to Julian Assange saying he is responsible
for this, I am not quite sure, that would do more damage than help.
But going back to Julian Assange
and the forum. I think to compromise the forum technically wouldn’t it be a good idea, I think it that the
best thing was to prove the forum is not safe, that would put users off, that would put users off joining
the forum, that would put users off reading information on the forum, it will put users off even
accessing the forum.
It doesn’t matter how many people post on the forum, I can tell you the amount, I can tell you the
traffic on the forum. The forum is frequented each day by approximately 600,000 unique IP’s that’s the
amount of people that go onto the forum daily to look at the information. It doesn’t have to, they don’t
post, not everyone posts on the forum but it’s the information that is being read on the forum
You have to prove to them that the forum has compromised their data, yeah? Because in this,
sorry, in this database there is their IP addresses, their e-mail addresses of all forum members
including the administrators.
if you have contact to Julian Assange the best thing to do,
cause I don’t, I don’t know anyone that does to be honest, but, I mean, but if you do or know anyone
who has contact, ask him if he wants, if he wants the files.
you would need, he would need a copy of the database to … I mean… let’s be
fair, this is Julian’s, to be honest, I think it’s Julian’s forum. It’s the forum that belongs to WikiLeaks,
I think Julian should be able to decide what should happen with this database,
like as I said…
I am going to give the database to you no problem, but I think, I mean… before anyone else gets their
hands on it, I think it would be very good if Julian say either ‘we don’t need it’ or ‘ok we need it’ or ‘we
let the forum be as… or let…’ I think maybe he should make a call on this.
Yeah! Because he is the backbone of WikiLeaks and he is the person who ultimately is responsible for
the forum because he did launch the forum with this guy ‘Mark’ – whatever his name is…Tarant. He
did release it with him. They actually ‘Announced’ it. There was an ‘Announcement’ made on Twitter
on the WikiLeaks Twitter account. Julian announced the forum. When Julian announces a forum, he
announces it as a project within WikiLeaks.
the forum as far as I know them, they are very pro-Muslim. They, like I say,
four of the administrators are Muslims, they are pro-Muslim but the do have a problem with Julian. I
don’t think, it’s not, I don’t think it’s with WikiLeaks but the problem is with Julian Assange.
