Well let me tell you what I know about the people who disguise themselves with the WikiLeaks brand when in fact they aggressively smear it, subverting support, committing a fraud on the general public.

Mark Pickett or Goeder, or Goeder-Tarant (MGT) [1] in collaboration with Sigurdur Thordarson (ST) [2] set up WikiLeaks-Forum.com together in February 2011, owned by MGT.

Already in 2010 ST gave MGT access to the WikiLeaks Facebook Page where he closed down the existing forum and replaced it with the one he owned. A twitter account @wikileaks_forum [3], and numerous Facebook pages[4] were created, as well as a blog support-julian-assange.com [5] disguised as supportive groups. WikiLeaks name, logos, and relevant content articles were used to commit a fraud on the public. These fronts reached over 15,000 e-mail accounts, 180,000 Facebook news feeds, thousands more in Twitter, and through Support-Julian-Assange.com blog.

Thousands of members of the public became members of the forum, ‘liked’ the Facebook Pages, ‘followed’ the twitter account, believing them to be genuine supportive groups. Reality is very different.

Sigurdur Thordarson proved to be an informant used as a bait by the FBI to entrap WikiLeaks [6]. Mark Goeder Tarant tried to sell it to the highest bidder three times [7]. Then, when people realized he treated the WikiLeaks Facebook page as a personal channel to status and income and was kicked out of it in summer 2012, he turned openly anti-WikiLeaks with the help of four people [1] using the social media platforms under his control as fronts for smearing and subverting support to WikiLeaks.

He spread lies that Julian Assange was agent of the West trying to destabilize Middle East and impose regime change favouring the Muslim Brotherhood. He asserted Julian Assange was in no danger to being extradited to the US from Sweden [8]. In a series of posts shared at the Forum’s Facebook Staff Room he accused WikiLeaks of being a cult, of misrepresenting the facts of the Ecuadorian Embassy seize by the police [9] twisting the truth [10]. The twitter account started following “The Objectiviser” [11]. This known anti-WikiLeaks persona was asked to moderate his own board at the forum, cross-posting his anti Assange smears from the site wikiwacher.org.uk, owned by Alan Taylor [12] of the PGP Board. He is the notorious anti-WikiLeaks operative who back in 2010 had tried to present in his own forum, a group called ‘the Wikileaks insiders’ as a group of nameless but ‘credible’ WL/JA critics [13]. A scenario straight from the HB Gary anti-WL operations manual. [14]

In October 2012 a big lie was propagated that the whole operation was handed over to new owner David Viaine (Pathios) [15], author of ‘The day WikiLeaks died for me’. [16]. Around that time fake twitter account followers were purchased [17]. In fact the domain name registration had never changed hands, and David Viaine quit his involvement in January 2013 siting differences in politics and management style [18].

Dis-endorsement:

On the 17/01/2013, MGT claimed that the WikiLeaks “Syria Files” release would “support the destruction of an elected government” and stated that “our conscience won’t allow us to be a part of a propaganda war against a sovereign state.” And deleted the forum’s relevant Board [19]. The following day 18/01/2013 the WikiLeaks.org supporters page showed an update that remains to this day:

“The “WikiLeaks Forum” is not run or endorsed by WikiLeaks and has no connection to WikiLeaks whatsoever.”

On 26/01/2013 Admin Anon1984 published a post by ST explaining his role at the forum [21] and on 01/02/2013 yet another new ownership was announced that remained a secret [22].

WikiLeaks in their 07/02/2013 editorial ‘Eight FBI agents conduct interrogation in Iceland in relation to ongoing U.S. investigation of WikiLeaks’ profiled Siggi with: “There is strong indication that the FBI used a combination of coercion and payments to pressure the young man to co-operate.” [23] In August 2013 amidst revelations in the press by ST himself that he was a paid FBI informant, he returned to the forum yet again outlining his involvement in its creation to the applaud of MGT and helpers.

As the year went by the attacks continued against WL/JA [24], their supporters [25] as well as the newly fledged WikiLeaks Party. In September, despite all evidence to the contrary, MGT re-named the forum to WikiLeaks Supporters Forum mirroring the title of a rival forum [26].

After the failure to establish a Wikipedia Page in October 2013 [27] a forum post ‘Facts about the WikiLeaks Forum’ [28] was published, laden with wilful distortions of facts for example, no mention was made to the Forum’s Donation button [29] public’s financial contributions to MGT, his interest with the translation project, neither was any mention of income generated by the sale of back links, footer links [30]. Whether the new owner had paid for the site, remains a mystery.

A letter by ‘Friends of WikiLeaks’ [31] circulated among WikiLeaks supporters warning that the forum had turned anti-WikiLeaks. The WLF response was a most bizarre piece of theatre that ever existed. One of the MGT controlled Facebook Pages named FoWL (Friends of WikiLeaks), run by Jerri Barney posted an open Letter of Apology [32] to all those who had received the Warning Letter. Purchased Facebook Likes were employed to give the appearance that the post met with the approval of the public. [33].

WikiLeaks: ‘wikileaks-forum is a fraud’:

In response, WikiLeaks tweeted several messages through Oct/Nov and Dec 2013 explaining WLF and platforms controlled by MGT have nothing to do with WikiLeaks, they are a fraud on the public, they are e-mail harvesters [34].Attacks against WikiLeaks intensified further with posts like ‘Never mind the FBI, Assange is the Forums biggest troll’ [35].

In 2014 new evidence has come to light that Forum Admin Anon1984 had spoilt an Avaaz petition with over 2300 signatories subverting support for Julian Assange [36]. The #taiji and #seashepherd twitter hashtags were infiltrated to undermine support for the WikiLeaks Party due to National Council member strong involvement with that movement [37]. The WikiLeaks name and logos were used to deceive not only the support base but also the general public and media [38] by dabbling in WikiLeaks publishing work [39] and soliciting submissions [40].

Such people [1] have set up and operate the most dangerous set of fronts for an anti-WikiLeaks smearing operation at the same time misleading thousands of social media users and even journalists to confuse them with WikiLeaks. No stone must be left unturn to stop this fraud on the public.

On the 14th of May 2012 Mark Goeder Tarant added a new moderator to the WikiLeaks Forum Facebook Staff Group Page.

Her name was Julia Reiter or Anon1984, 19, Austrian, with excellent command of English, a flair for petitions and she was given a very warm welcome by all, including myself. Very soon her moderating permissions were increased and became a Global Moderator and furthermore, a Language Co-ordinator, joining me and Admin Ariana (potjeha / Jasminka) at the forum’s Volunteer Translations Project. I don’t have dual citizenship, although I am entitled, I will some time in the future I think., I vote in the local elections here in the UK and in National Elections in Greece. This was the first time I voted in Greece though… imagine… but I had enough with the situation, I had to do something, get rid of the “old guard” give some new people the chance to govern. Our duties are mainly keeping the site clean of spam, as you can see from all the past posts here at the staff room. we are responsible for our own boards but collaborate as much as we can. We can move spam to the “Thread Graveyard” or delete them if they are clear Advertising. In the beginning always check with an admin, then when you are sure of what you doing you act independently. Spammers are mostly banned in the end but only an admin can do this, you just ask them

yes, because in Austria you can now vote at the age of 16. But the one election where I participated wasn’t really important – just about the Federal President (not sure that’s the right word…Heinz Fischer, in the unlikely case you’ve heard of him ). The federal president can’t really do anything, he’s just a representative, so it’s not that important…but the next parliamentary elections will come The third greek party now failed to form a government, so now the president has to try and make them form one, right? Is that the current status? I haven’t really had the time to get a news update today..

I did not know you could vote at 16! in Austria, it seems like a good thing. In Greece and UK you vote at 18. In Greece indeed you are right, no party coalition can come up with the numbers so elections will be repeated and all political parties are getting ready for this. Probably the 17th of June. In the meanwhile, the Greek President Karolos Papulias (also mostly ceremonial role – he is elected by the Parliament) will appoint a functional government to govern the country till the new elections. It is expected that after sismic change in the political world it will take time for people and political parties to get used to having to work togehter. The next elections will bring about more consolidated vote and will produce a government.

1. Greece will never leave the EU
2. There will be no civil war
3. The situation is desparate for some people, there are kitchen soups in Athens feeding the very poor
4. The worst off are the immigrants from Middle East North Africa, Afganistan Asia who have entered Greece looking to escape the wars or wanting to go further into the Industrial Europe but the EU law says they have got to stay at the country of entry, so they are stuck in Greece, at least a couple of million of them.. poor souls.
5. The fate of the Euro is not depended on Greece but on how the entire EU acts. Greece was ok under the drachma, the euro brought tremendous inflation (hidden inflation) also Greek market was flooded with cheep imports, many industries in Greece collapsed.ON the other hand it brought really low interest rates, mortgages were available for the very first time in Greek history. I remember interest rates for loans in Greece in the 80’s at 36%.

The situation is difficult because the austerity programme by the troika has plunged the country into economic depression, businesses close down all the time, tax revenues(much needed to pay the debts) have collapsed. It is indeed a desperate situation but can be soon overcome. I am optimistic.

Optimism is certainly better than just giving up But another problem is that if the austerity measures stop the EU will stop sending money, right? And they say that if that happens the state will run out of money within weeks. Or is that again scaremongering by the media?

Back home now, my mum cooked and looked after everyone, my husband took the kids to school, everyone here pulled their weight so that I can go to the supreme court, disappointed at the result but my goodness what a fight this is…I am resting now as I only had about 3 and a half hours sleep last night. yes, I know. What I was thinking about for a while now…maybe a stupid question: Tunisia has offered JA political asylum – if safe transport into that country was organised…wuldn’t that be an option?
Also, I read that referendums are binding in Australia – couldn’t the Australian supporter groups collect enough signatures to have a referendum about whether the government should prevent his extradition? (I think I heard that they could)

Tunisia…personally I don’t think so. Do you know how easy it would be …I don’t dare to say it… for him to get in harms way… in countries with poor record in Human rights and security? No he needs to be in countries who can guarantee his safety because it would be too high a political cost for their governemtn to not protect him. just read this when you come back: I chose certain MEPs to whom I’ll each send an email, explaining what the petition is about and why so many people have signed it and what we want them to do…
and how are the chances that, if we actively approach governemnts, find another country that would offer him asylum?
Russia…? They’re not so good on human rights, but they’re very fond of JA so they wouldn’t harm him.
Or just any other country? I’ve been thinking about the option that Austria offers him asylum, but one ruling party ignored my question about the case and the other was not that enthusiastic, so that’s not likely.
Greece has other problems now, too.
………….someone on the Forum mentioned the possibility of Finland offering him asylum? Should we talk to that member?

it would be sensible to do so I think. “The failure of the UK Judicial System in protecting his HUman rights” would be a good angle as well as “the political abandonment of Australian Government” the lack of faith in the UK government to deal with the political aspect of Assange’s extradition in relation to the US Grand Jury. Ecuador shows more courage in offering Assange shelter etc…

My e-mail to Avaaz.org of 01/02/2014, following up the change of the petition to a tool of harassment. Again and again the same pattern, wlf uses a vehicle first put together for gathering support for Julian Assange and WikiLeaks (the petition) to do harm.

Dear Sir/Madam

On the 8th of June 2012 a petition was created in support of Julian Assange – No Extradition to be submitted to EU Parliament. I became a signatory and campaigned at the time to promote the petition by sharing it in twitter/facebook.

I recently (29.01.2014) revisited the page wondering what happened to the petition and I saw a number of changes had happened to the page, which were alarming. I sent an e-mail enquiry to Avaaz, using the form and quoting the live URL. The page changed again showing one less signatory. I wrote a post about all this informing the community of WikiLeaks supporters. Today the petition has changed again and now has been turned into a tool of harassment and bullying towards me.

Its title has been changed to say: “Fight cults taking advantage of paranoid people – help Emilia B****” and the creator’s name has been changed to Emmy B, United Kingdom (my name).

Please contact me directly on the matter and take appropriate action.
